Some of you will have visited us in your own hometowns, where for one day only you can shop through over 6 tonnes of handpicked preloved, vintage & retro clothing and pay by weight - all of it just £15 per kilo!
But rather than waiting for the biggest kilo event in the UK to land on your doorstep once every few months, you can now shop with us all year round right in the heart of Sheffield city centre!
We're thrilled to welcome you all to our first ever Preloved Kilo pop-up shop!
Our fellow locals may recognise this space as previously being occupied by the legendary Mooch Vintage (if we say so ourselves...), which we did wave goodbye to in March 2020. But not to worry, that handsome Wayne fella from Mooch has always moonlighted as our chief buyer, so rest assured you can still find amazing true vintage and one of a kind retro, but now it's all available by weight (which means it's probably a lil bit cheaper, too!)
Everything in store is our usual rate of £15 per kilo, and super heavy items are fixed at a maximum price of £15 - these will be individually labelled, look out for the red tags! You can find everything you'd normally expect to find at one of our events - from 60's maxi dresses to retro sportswear, you can find further details on our product via the button below.
We're also following all Government guidelines to ensure our environment is safe for staff and customers, you can find further details below. Please read them carefully so you know what to expect in store.
If you have any questions or queries, feel free to drop us an email or give us a call during our opening hours.
In the interest of safety, we're imposing some basic guidelines which we require all staff and customers to follow in line with the Government advice. Please familiarise yourself with them below; we will also have a member of staff on entry to provide help and advice upon arrival.
There is a strict limit of 10 customers in store at any one time.
If the customer limit is reached, you’ll be required to queue outside. We’ll place a member of staff outside to monitor queues and ensure social distancing is enforced. Please queue at least 2m away from others.
During high demand, we may impose time restrictions on each customer in store. You'll be asked to complete your shopping within a set time frame (e.g. one hour) to ensure others have an opportunity to shop.
Hand sanitiser is available on entry which should be used.
Face masks or other face covering must be worn. This is required by the Government and we have the right to refuse entry to anyone who fails to wear a face covering, unless you are a child under 11 or have a disability which prevents you wearing one.
Once inside, please observe social distancing - try to stay at least 2m away from others where possible.
Our fitting rooms will remain closed at this time which is required for us to abide by Government retail guidelines. We advise you bring a tape measures so you can measure garments in store to help give you an idea of their fit. Our staff will be able to offer advice on how to measure yourself and the clothing.
Bring your own bag - as we’re in a smaller controlled space we’re able to allow (and strongly encourage) own bag use in our Sheffield store.
Our staff will be provided with PPE and will be required to wear it at all times. We’re also providing cleaning equipment so regular sanitation of high contact areas can take place, with deep cleans taking place after closing hours.
Sportswear is limited to a maximum of 4kg per person, per day. This includes all types of sportswear i.e. hoodies, sweatshirts, pullovers, shell jackets, track tops etc (t-shirts, coats and joggers on other rails not included). This is to ensure our full range of stock is available to all customers at all times. Overseas travel restrictions and freight delays means our deliveries aren’t as regular as usual, please respect this temporary limitation to ensure all our customers have a chance to dig out some top notch vintage.
Viruses are unlikely to thrive on porous clothing, however we strongly advise you quarantine your purchases for 72 hours once you get home as advised by the government when buying any type of goods.
The nearest tram stop is West Street, or we're a 15 minute walk from Sheffield Train Station.
The nearest car parks are on Rockingham Street, Fitzwilliam Street and Eldon Street, we recommend Parkopedia to help you find the best option.
