Okay...so we've got some news thats kinda a big deal...
We're incredibly excited to announce we're a Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards 2022 finalist! The winner will be announced in April so cross your fingers for us! 🤩🤞
We've been nominated for the Recommerce Award which "recognises the emerging breed of fashion companies that are built on circular values, such as rental or buying and selling second hand. Judges will be looking for evidence of growth over the past 12 months, both in terms of brand awareness and financially, as well as new collaborations and innovations."
As most of you will know, we've worked hard to build our reputation up over the past few years via our kilo events, and as such we're recognised as one of the UK leaders in providing quality sustainable fashion that's both affordable and accessible.
This passion we displayed at our events was picked up on by George at Asda (who are up for several awards themselves for their sustainable efforts!) which developed into one of the most rewarding partnerships we could have asked for - Preloved Vintage - which in 2020 brought sustainable shopping to the mainstream.
This partnership has not only helped us grow as a business, but we truly believe that making small sustainable changes is the way forward for the planet so we're really pleased that we're able to introduce more people to the joy of shopping second hand.
Not only this, but we're also working with Play It Green to plant real trees which in time will help reduce ours and our customers carbon footprints. With almost 8000 trees planted so far, this will help remove over 600 tonnes of carbon from our planet.
